Down the path from the Main House, in the same compound but accessed by its own drive, is the Cottage. The cottage was built as a stable in 1910, converted to a charming guest cottage in the 1940s, and fully renovated in 2007. The south-facing covered porch has panoramic views of the Mill Pond, an island-studded tidal waterway, navigable by kayak or small boat. The stony beach abounds in edible mussels and clams while wooded paths invite exploration and foraging. The cottage sleeps 6-7 in three bedrooms has 2 full baths and an outdoor shower. Every room has a water view.

On the first floor, the great room has a working fireplace with plenty of reading nooks. It is the perfect gathering spot for games, puzzles and play. The eat-in kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and opens onto its own deck with magnificent views. There is a full bath with shower on the first floor, outdoor shower, and gas BBQ grill.

Upstairs are a full bathroom with tub and two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and a day bed, and the other with twin beds.

There is no television, but plenty of books and games. Both houses are equipped with WiFi Internet 400Mbps. Pets are not permitted.
